Paris Hilton $6.25 Million Mansion
More Paris Hilton Book News! New Bio Out In UK…..
British author Chas Newkey-Burden has just come out with a new Paris Hilton biography. According to the publisher, John Blake Publishing, "Paris Hilton: Life On The Edge is the first major biography of this remarkable woman." Remarkable? Unfortunately, the book doesn't sound to offer any new insight on Paris. The publisher adds "the book is your all-access pass to the most exclusive fashion shows, premieres and parties. This revealing portrait covers the string of famous heart-throbs she has dated including actor Leonardo DiCaprio and Backstreet Boy Nick Carter. Its star-studded character list also includes Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Richie , who co-starred with Paris in the hit reality television show The Simple Life." Yawn.
Paris Hilton Pays Up for Lying
It's always sweet joy when Paris Hilton gets nailed for her trouble making. Remember those three wonderful weeks in June? This time our heiress extraordinaire has reportedly forked over more than $2 million dollars to settle out of court with Zeta Graff. You may remember Graff as the ex-girlfriend of Paris' ex-fiancé Paris Latstis (confused yet?) who sued Hilton for defamation. Her charge? That Paris leaked a bunch of lies to Page Six, which wrote that Graff ripped a necklace of Hilton's neck and was then thrown out of a London night club as the song" Copacabana" played in the background. Sounds like Graff won this round! Nice work random rich lady. Too bad the Parises parted ways eons ago, making it all the more fun to say "that's hot" to Paris losing a nice chunk of change for spreading such a lame rumor. [ NY Post. Image: Getty]
Paris Hilton Settles Lawsuit with Diamond Heiress
The on-going feud between Paris Hilton and Zeta Graff, the ex-girlfriend of Paris Latsis (who is Paris Hilton's former fiance … are you following all this?) will have to continue outside of a courtroom. Paris decided to settle Graff's lawsuit against her just as the trial was getting started.
Just a day before jury selection was scheduled to begin in diamond diva Zeta Graff's much-anticipated defamation suit against the hotel heiress, Paris forked up enough cash to settle the case. Sources pegged the damage at north of $2 million. In the suit, Graff alleged that Hilton planted a story on Page Six two years ago which falsely claimed a jealous Graff - the ex-girlfriend of Paris Latsis - had ripped a necklace off Hilton's neck and been thrown out of London nightclub Kabaret, while Barry Manilow's "Copacabana" played mockingly in the background. Graff's lawyer, Michael Avenatti, said, "Both parties are glad the matter could be resolved without the time and expense of a trial."
In what is perhaps the funniest part of this whole story, the Page Six article continues with the following: "We at Page Six are just glad the matter was resolved without our editor being forced to recite the lyrics of Manilow's hit song in court, as he did in a deposition."
Now there's a video I hope ends up on YouTube.
Paris Hilton Settles Up
Paris Hilton settled a $10 million defamation lawsuit brought against her by diamond heiress Zeta Graff. In the suit, Graff claimed Paris spread "vicious lies" about her to the media in 2005 while Paris was engaged to Graff's former boyfriend, Paris Latsis.
A trial was scheduled to begin on Monday, but luckily an "amicable resolution" was reached by both parties this week.
Graff, who for two years reportedly dated Greek shipping heir Paris Latsis (Hilton's former fiancé circa 2005), contended in her suit that Hilton spread "vicious lies" about her to the media, specifically, to the New York Post.
The paper reported on July 2, 2005, that Graff, who had a small role in Luc Besson's 1997 film The Fifth Element, went "berserk" in a London nightclub, tried to strangle Hilton and attempted to steal her diamond necklace.
Contending that the report strayed from the truth, Graff also allegedly said that Hilton said "I'm going to destroy you" after trying to have her (Graff) ejected from the club, according to court papers.
Hilton, whose relationship with the shipping heir subsequently hit the rocks, denied that she was the hidden hand behind the report.
But, the AP reports, former Hilton publicist Rob Shuter stated in a deposition that his client asked him to help plant the story.
Details of the settlement are to remain confidential, according to a statement released by Graff's attorney, Bruce Broillet.
Do y'all remember Paris Latsis? Homeboy was a messhardly worth fighting over.

More nonsense about Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton is hoping to become a respected author.
The hotel heiress - who published autobiographical work 'Confessions of an Heiress: A Tongue-in-Chic Peek Behind the Pose' in 2004 - is planning a new book, but it won't be a follow-up to the memoir.
Paris' literary agent Dan Strone said yesterday (21.08.07): "She is thinking of doing a new book. I don't believe at this time it's going to be a prison diary. I don't think that's the direction she's heading in."
The 26-year-old - who recently spent 23 days behind bars for driving with a suspended licence - has already tried her hand at modelling, acting, singing and fashion designing.
Paris recently revealed new plans to extend her brand by becoming a "real estate mogul".
She said: "I definitely want to get more into real estate.
"Own my own hotels, restaurants, my own Paris stores. There's a lot more to do. I want to be a real estate mogul."
Paris Hilton Set To Amaze Us Again With Another Book
After 2004's "Confessions of an Heiress" was such a hit, Paris Hilton is going to try again to write a book. Or at least hire someone who knows how to spell to write a book in her name.
"She is planning to do another book," Paris' literary agent Dan Strone, who handled her 2004 book Confessions Of An Heiress, told Tuesday afternoon."She is thinking of doing a new book, and I don't think believe at this time, it's contemplated to be a so-called prison diary."
Strone said anything could change, as the specifics of Paris' next book is still in the planning stages, but he told in reference to the prison memoir reports, "I don't think that's the direction she's heading."
Maybe it will be Paris Hilton's Guide to Throwing a Party, or a how-to book about avoiding herpes outbreaks. I'm sure there are many topics Paris could successfully tackle.
What others are saying:
- Best Week Ever says, "Sadly, it won't be a prison memoir. Let's hope it's an 8-page pamphlet instructing the world how to reach enlightenment."
- TMZ says, "[on it not being a prison memoir] And folks were so looking forward to the Dostoevskian depths of her despair!"
- Mollygood says, "What do you think the title of this bible of the careless shall be? My guess: Killing Them Softly: How to Gradually Wear Away at the Fabric of Civilization Without Getting Caught."
- dlisted says, "I think what he meant was, she's thinking of doing a book…like literally doing it. Like doing sex to it, because that's probably the only object on Earth she hasn't humped."

Paris Hilton Settles $10M Defamation Lawsuit With Zeta Graff
Paris Hilton Settles $10M Defamation Lawsuit With Zeta Graff
LOS ANGELES (August 22, 2007) It appears Paris Hilton's pockets are about to get a whole lot lighter.
Paris has settled her defamation lawsuit with fellow socialite Zeta Graff, according to the Santa Monica County court clerk, although the official paperwork has yet to reach Superior Court.
Lawyers for both parties were in a Santa Monica court this morning, and ended up settling the case.
And while the court calendar indicated jury selection process is still scheduled to begin on Monday, that presumably will no longer be needed.
Details of the settlement are unknown at this time.
The attorneys for Paris and Zeta released the following joint statement to Access Hollywood:
"Zeta Graff and Paris Hilton are pleased to announce the amicable resolution of the lawsuit between them. Both parties are glad that the matter could be resolved without the time and expense of a trial. The resolution is confidential and no one will comment further."
Stan Lee Makes a Move on Paris Hilton
Famed writer Smilin' Stan Lee (Spider-Man, X-Men, Silver Surfer, Fantastic Four) is bringing the world another Superhero: Paris Hilton. We're not making this up.
Lee told NY Post columnist Cindy Adams, that he plans to make an animated cartoon TV show with Paris Hilton. "A hip comedy in the superhero comedy-adventure genre. We get on very well. This is a charming, very likable person. Sophisticated. Great comedic sense. A fine voice. And seriously hard-working. Totally unlike whatever the public is led to believe. And she has input. She attends every meeting. What we plan to do is truly tasteful."
Paris could start an entirely new trend ― she could be her own living cartoon in the flesh, but have an animated voice.

Just a week earlier socialite Paris laughed off reports she is dating Grenier, and they are just friends.
The romance between the two seems to have sparked when the Hilton heiress and the Entourage heartthrob both made an appearance in Leo DiCaprio's documentary 11th Hour, and they've been going nonstop ever since.
Now the Vincent Chase actor has been spotted arriving at and leaving the Simple Life star's Malibu beach house with alarming frequency

Britney Spears Scraps Wig, Stepping Up Her Game
Britney Spears has has decided to ditch the wigs and hats… at least for the time being. The troubled pop tart was spotted out showing off her real hair for the first time since she gave herself a buzz cut six LONG months ago.
The more natural look may be the first of her reported moves to step up her custody case against ex-husband Kevin Federline.
Continuing on, the source claims: "She may not be Snow White, but she is determined to show he is no knight in shining armor either."
Did anyone really think that he was to begin with?
Enjoy the first picture of a wigless Bitney. Also included are some shots of her out partying on the August 16.

High School Musical 2 Breaks Records
High School Musical 2 Breaks Records
With a record breaking Nielsen score last week at its premiere, High School Musical 2 showed that Disney has found the formula for a successful made-for-TV series.
Building upon the successful spin-offs, including concerts and records from the first show, it was not surprising that the sequel to High School Musical became the most-watched basic cable program ever.
With an estimated audience of 17.2 million viewers, the second installment of the series more than doubled the 7.7 million viewers that watched High School Musical. The previous record for a single basic cable event was an ESPN Monday Night Football game in 2006, which registered 16 million viewers.
Disney has struck gold with the High School Musical brand, as it has built up an extremely loyal fan base. By allowing the fans to interact with the stars of the show through concerts and records, Disney has been able to transform the normal viewer relationship with a character into a social phenomenon.
As the sequel continued the adventures of students Sharpay and Troy and their fellow Wildcats of East High through the summer break, we look forward to seeing what happens in the next installment of this exciting new series.
In the meantime, enjoy the pictures of Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens out on Monday (August 20), along with shots of HS Musical 2's stars at the Disney Premiere last week.

Paris Hilton Reveals New Clothing Line
The inspiration for her clothing line came from clothing she already owns. "It's just from my closet to their closets. I'm just excited about it and everyone really loves it. I just wanted to make clothes that were comfortable and fun," said Hilton.
In addition to launching the new line, which is considered 'affordable', part of the proceeds from sales of Hilton's clothing went to the Los Angeles Children's Hospital. After a recent stint in jail for driving without a license, Hilton vowed to use her celebrity to promote charities and awareness of different causes.
Creating clothing is just one of many pursuits Hilton has been involved in over the years. As a star of 'The Simple Life' with friend Nicole Richie, Hilton has also released a CD, and created her own perfume. Adding a clothing line complete with T-Shirts and other items was something Hilton has wanted to do for a long time.
Paris Hilton And Adrian Grenier: It’s True!?
As an update to the Gossip Girls story on Paris Hilton possibly dating Adrian Grenier , reports are confirming the romance. It looks like Paris is adding Grenier to the makeover plans she has for herself post-jail.
It started with the heiress and the Entourage stud taking in Leo DiCaprio's documentary 11th Hour, and they've been going nonstop ever since.
Now the Vincent Chase actor has been spotted arriving at and leaving the Simple Life star's Malibu beach house with alarming frequency.
And Grenier seems to be a good choice for the "Stars are Blind" singer. He's reserved, gorgeous, and doesn't really have a lot of baggage. Plus, he's environmentally-friendly, so they can hug trees together!
Enjoy the pictures of Paris and Adrian busily at work this past Sunday (August 19).

Paris Causes Chaos at Kitson
|
Paris caused chaos in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon when she launched her new clothing line at fashionable boutique Kitson. Police had to be drafted in to help control a surging crowd desperate to catch a glimpse of Paris at Kitson in Beverly Hills, and a lane of traffic on Robertson Boulevard was closed to accommodate the thousands of star-spotting pedestrians. Hilton said during the launch of her own shoes, T-shirts and jeans, "It's a dream come true to have my own clothing line. It's just Paris style: fun, bright and flashy. They are really comfortable and really affordable. "It's just from my closet to their closets." |
