Britney Spears is desperate to rekindle her friendship with Paris Hilton, according to a report. Britney became close to Paris after splitting from Kevin Federline at the end of last year, and was spotted partying in Los Angeles with the Simple Life star on a number of different occasions. Britney eventually ended the friendship because she was worried about her antics were being perceived, but it now seems that she is regretting her decision. A source told Life and Style Weekly magazine: "Britney is dying to hang out with Paris. She's trying to get her cell phone number and passing messages to her through other friends. "Paris moved on a long time ago when it comes to Britney. She feels sorry for her, but that is as far as it goes!"
